Sarah and Cody were married at the Custom House Maritime Museum in Newburyport, MA. I don’t think I had been to Newburyport before meeting Sarah for her initial consult, and I can’t believe I had never been. This town is perfect. It is a quaint New England coastal town with all the charming details you would expect. The perfect spot in the Boston area for a wedding.
Sarah is from Newburyport so this location held special meaning for her and her family. The day started with Sarah getting ready at her parents house literally down the street from their venue. She was a stunner in her gorgeous Hayley Paige wedding gown. When Sarah told me about her dress during our consult I literally couldn’t wait to see the dress, and it really was gorgeous in every way possible.
I met Cody at the Star of the Sea Parish in Salisbury, MA a little before their wedding ceremony. He looked so handsome with all his groomsmen greeting all their guests as they entered the church. Their ceremony was beautiful and even a cousin of the bride sang a song during Mass. Such a beautiful touch! All of the family then traveled over to the Custom House Maritime Museum where they enjoyed a lovely cocktail hour in the museum and dinner and dancing under a tent along the harbor.
Sarah and Cody had the most beautiful sunset for their portraits! It was literally cotton candy skies in the background. It was truly a photographer’s dream come true. It was such a beautiful day, and I loved celebrating with this family. Congratulations Sarah and Cody!
