Where do I even start with this post. I have known Erin & Paul since High School and even before they were “Erin and Paul”. So after many years of dating and lots of not so subtle hints from Erin, Paul finally asked Erin to marry him. I was over the moon and honored when they they asked me to photograph their wedding elopement in Great Brook Farm State Park in Carlisle, MA last December. This state park north of Boston is an incredible snowy wonderland during the winter.
Their elopement was a surprise as they had a wedding ceremony planned for the following spring. When they told me they were eloping, I knew we had to make it perfect for them. I wanted Erin to have everything she had dreamed about over the years. That dream was to be married during the winter in a red wedding gown with the snow falling.
So after they said their “I dos” in their living room, I met them at Great Brook Farm State Park for their bridal photographs. Seeing how utterly happy and in love these two during this cold winter afternoon is a day I will never forget. There is so much beauty in experiencing love in it’s purest form. I seriously cannot even believe how stunning they looked against the backdrop of this winter paradise. I am so glad that we were able to make their dreams come true.
THANK YOU so much for asking me to photograph the start of your forever. I love you both so much. We cannot wait to see what the future holds for you both. Happy Anniversary!!
